2018 Spartan Softball

     This year, softball has been very successful, with only five losses in the entire season, 2 of which were pre-season losses. The season is over, the Spartans are 2nd in our league and 6th in the entire state! Just on Tuesday, May 1, Varsity had a win against Parkrose, 2-0. As well as Junior Varsity having a win with 12-11.  This year, JV has 6 new players! This year JV started with 15 players, and their numbers have dwindled down tremendously, 3 quit, 1 was hurt, and a couple girls on Varsity were hurt, bringing players on JV up to fill in. That leaves no-one on the bench for JV, having every single girl out on the field at all times. Varsity has started playoffs, and are hoping to win. This year their goal has to been to win a championship. All the girls are working hard, and are practicing almost every single day to reach their goal.
